Fold-Up Table

In May 2020 I built a fold-up table with a flip-top panel and storage cubbies underneath. The idea was a compact dining table that could double as storage for my mother-in-law.

Cutting lumber on the miter saw — first baby in one arm, pretending to make his first cut. This was the summer of building things one-handed.

The finished table has a white painted panel top with four storage cubbies underneath. The frame is dark stained to match the bed frame I built around the same time.

Simple build, but useful. The cubbies hold enough to keep the area neat, and the whole thing is sturdy enough to eat on.
